Field Definitions

- EST Name
- Each name begins with a "7" followed by a unique letter
corresponding to the library of origin:

- EST Accession
- Accession number corresponding to entry in the EST division of GenBank.
- BLASTN (nr)
- Accession number for the best match (P < 10-6)
based on BLASTN searches against the NCBI non-redundant nucleotide
sequence database (nr).
- BLASTX (nr)
- Accession number for the best match (P < 10-6)
based on BLASTX searches (six-frame translation)
against the NCBI non-redundant protein sequence database (nr).
- BLASTN (dbEST)
- Accession number for the best match (P < 10-6)
based on BLASTN searches against dbEST.
- STS Name
- When applicable, the name of the STS developed from the EST
(each name begins with the prefix "sWSS" followed by a unique
number).
